Flanged Heaters consist of “U” shaped tubular elements, welded (argon arc welding) into a flange and provided with wiring boxes for electrical connections. Flange immersion heaters are installed by bolting to a matching flange welded to the tank wall or nozzle.A thermocouple is often used within the bundle of elements to allow for a probe to relay temperature readings to a digital control panel that cycles and maintains the desired target temperature.
